STRUMERO LIVE ON AUSTIN’S FOX 7 NEWS
Strumero will be performing live on the Austin, Texas local Fox 7 morning news show as part of their “Music In The Morning” series which features local musicians. Strumero will appear on Wednesday, June 11th, and local Austin residents can catch them if you tune in between 7:15-8:30 a.m. that morning.

STRUMERO WINS BEST OF BI-ANNUAL SHOWCASE!
On June 7th, Strumero competed against six other performers and won first place in the Bugle Boy’s Best of Bi-Annual Showcase concert. Strumero won $500 and an opportunity to play at the Bugle Boy’s Annual Best of Showcase concert in January. Since Strumero’s leader Michael Romero will be leaving to serve in the Peace Corp on July 7th, the Bugle Boy has decided to host farewell show on Sunday, June 22nd, from 3-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.thebugleboy.com or on the day of the show.

CD RELEASE SHOWS-NEW LOCATION UPDATE
Due to the closing of Oakville Grocery last week, Strumero will be moving the location of its Saturday, May 24th CD release show to Momo’s, and adding a second CD release show on Sunday, May 25th, at The Austin Playhouse in the Larry L. FINALIST IN TEXAS SONGWRITER SERENADE
Michele was selected as one of six finalists in the 2nd Annual Texas Songwriter Serenade for her song “Don’t Be A Loner In Beaumont” and won $100. Many thanks to organizer Mike Stroup, judges Donnie Blasco, Eric Taylor and Terry Altman, and all the other songwriters who shared their songs.

CD RELEASE SHOW!!!
Strumero will be releasing its CD, titled “Before I Go...” at its CD release show on Saturday, May 24th at Oakville Grocery at the Domain in Austin, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Mark your calendar now and plan to come out for a great show.

STRUMERO WINS SUNDAY SHOWCASE
Strumero was chosen as the winner of the Bugle Boy’s Sunday Showcase from among ten other songwriter/bands who performed today. We will perform again on Saturday, June 7th as part of the Bugle Boy’s Bi-Annual Best of Showcase Concert. Come out and hear other great new upcoming songwriters and bands, and show some love for the Bugle Boy, a very special place for those who love music.

Strumero is heading into the studio to record our first CD. We’ll be recording at Neal Shotwell’s Acoustic Chemistry Productions Studio over the next few months and are planning the CD release at the end of May. Look for the future date of our CD release party!

Strumero will be playing at the Bugle Boy’s “Showcase Sundays” on Sunday, February 17th, sometime between 1-5 p.m. We’ll be competing for a chance to win a cash prize and a spot in the Bugle Boy’s bi-annual Best Of Showcase Concerts in June and November and for a grand prize performance at the Anniversary Show in January of each year. The Bugle Boy is a venue that calls itself a “listening room,” so when you play there your audience is there to listen. Talking and other distractions by audience members will get you booted out (Texas-style, with a smile, of course). Make plans now to come out and support us and show some love!
